Summary of the Book:

The Erotic Muse’ is the story of K, a young porn-addicted college-dropout who shies away from relationships and harbors dreams of becoming a writer. Full of anguish, he is given to self-abuse. One evening, while masturbating to his favorite erotic muse, Fanny Leone, sprawled on the cover of an underground porn magazine, K finds himself magically transported to a parallel world where all sexual desires and perversions are fulfilled, although with the price that he might remain trapped in this unique pleasure-hell all his life – unless he can find a way out. This ‘way out’ is his redemption, a journey studded with heart-stopping adventure, life-threatening danger, nerve-wracking horror, and a brush with true love.

*Warning: This book contains graphic descriptions of a sexual nature, some of them involving rape fantasies. Readers who are bothered by such scenes may choose to skip it.

My Personal Review: I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. I have not been reading much erotica since I started this blog, but I was offered this book by the other and decided to give it a chance. The book was wonderfully written but still needs a few edits. That did not stop me from enjoying the book. It is a about a college drop out that is all caught up in his world of lust and sexual fantasy. So far that he gets trapped in a world that is all about that and more. It at first is all that he could dreams for and even meets the girl who is his truest sexual fantasy, but he starts to realizes there is more to living then his lust and now he needs to escape his lustful prison. Does he escape and get back to that dream of being a writer? You will have to grab a copy and find out for yourself.

They are UnHallowed.
Gideon has one shot at redemption. Close the portal to Hell forever and return to Heaven, leaving behind millennia of darkness. Nothing means more than restoring his grace, until the one person he vowed never to see again places herself in his direct path. He has to resist her, but she is his Heaven—and his Hell.

Risking her life to shut Hell’s gateway, the last person Dina ever expected to encounter was the one she had lost forever. Duty, not desire, is what he instilled in her and what she will follow, regardless of how he makes her ache…Until the unthinkable happens and she must choose between honor and the only love she will ever have.
Torn between what they want and cannot have, Gideon and Dina must decide whether to make the ultimate sacrifice for the sake of humanity or let passion take them to where angels fear to tread.

My Personal Review: I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. They were really put in a tough spot to choice between love and closing a gateway to Hell. It is a bit of a shock to the system. I have never read anything by this author before but I want too. I know there are more books to come. I have not read many with Angels as the leads. A few with half-breed angels but now the full on winged version. It was a great first books. I am going to go start on the next one. Thank to the author for allowing me to read this.

Summary of the Book:

Heartbreak and transformation in the beauty of a Ukrainian village

For seven-year old Angela, happiness is exploring the lush countryside around her home in western Ukraine. Her wild imagination takes her into birds and flowers, and into the waters of the river.

All that changes when, one morning, she sees her mother crying. As she tries to find out why, she is drawn on an extraordinary journey into the secrets of her family, and her mother’s fateful choices.

Can Angela lead her mother back to happiness before her innocence is destroyed by the shadows of a dark past?

Beautiful, poetic and richly sensory, this is a tale that will haunt and lift its readers.

My Personal Review: I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. This book was a bit strange and I did have a little trouble sticking to it. IT was not a terrible it was a strangely woven tale of how mistakes of the past can turn into something different. It brings a mother and daughter closer together and show that now all is lost. It made me things of going from the darkness to a form of enlightenment. It has this fragile balance that could be tipped either way and we all hope for the best. There were some parts that were a little on the depressing side and it did make me want to put the book down, but I pushed my way through it and am glad that I did. It did a lot for my own understanding of the world. Want to those that allowed me to read this.

Brooklyn is readily forgotten. Life becomes a constant stream of debauchery, coming to a stand-still only when he meets “the one.” However, love doesn’t come easy. He must become a better man, a pursuit ignited by his memories of Beatles songs on his iPod.

Will these legendary songs change his life?
Can he escape Lennon’s eventual tragic fate?

His fate will unfold in Bollywood Invasion.

My Personal Review: I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. I got a copy of this book from the author. I was so happy when it came in the mail. It is a retelling of a tale some of us already know. It follows the adventure of a teen who is late for school that he is hit by a bus and wakes not only in another body but another time. He is a prince in India in 1958. He does not understand it after first and he meets a girl and that changes everything for him. Her father does not approve him and sends her away. He has to do something and he and his friends for a band. It does not go so well at first but then he starts to remember things from his other life and they start to get notice with the song Yesterday. He wants fame and fortune for his friends and that will give him a chance to find the girl. How that all works out you are going to have to read for yourself. I did like who the author put little explanations at the book of the page with a number so you would what things meant. It made the story flow and more enjoyable. A story that is should to become a classic in its own right.

Summary of the Book:

A fatal collision — who’s to blame? Two bodies, two souls switch in search of justice.

When fifteen-year-old Hallie gets knocked flying by a Hurricane SUV, her life ends without her ever having kissed a boy. At an otherworldly carnival, she meets and argues with the eighty-two-year-old driver, Susan. Both return to life, only with one catch — they’ve swapped bodies.

Now Hallie has wrinkled skin and achy joints while Susan deals with a forehead zit and a crush on a guy who’s a player. Hallie faces a life in a long-term care residence. Susan gets picked up for shoplifting.

As they struggle with technology, medications, and each other’s fashion foibles, they start to understand and maybe even like each other. But can they work together to prove that a defect in the Hurricane caused the deadly crash? Or will their time run out?

My Personal Review: I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. This book had me laughing and wanting to scream all at once. I am assuming that is a good things. All Hallie is worried about is getting her crush to notice her and she is hit by a car by an old lady. They end up at a carnival together. Eli tells them they can go back if they can prove that the car was at fault. The only thing is when they get back the accident does not happen but they are each other bodies. This is giving them some insight to what each go through in their lives but they have limited time to prove their point. Will they get switched back or will they end up back at the carnival? I will not tell. You will have to read it for yourself.

Summary of the Book:

I’m no Prince Charming.
Most people know me as the drummer for Nothing but Trouble. Depending who you ask, I’m also a playboy, a loner, the life of the party, a screw-up, or according to my fans, “The Sexiest Rock Star on the Planet.” Apparently, I’m a legend.
Am I surprised? Hell, no. It’s a reputation I’ve earned behind my drum kit and behind closed doors. No one thought foster kid Landon Cox would become famous. Infamous, maybe. Notorious, probably. But successful? Never. No one except Piper Hastings. But I had to make a choice: my woman or my career. I picked fame and fortune… and spent every damn day since pretending I don’t regret it.
Now fate’s dropped Piper back into my life. I want to believe it’s a second chance for me – for us. But while I can give her a few great nights, I can’t give Piper a future.
Because there’s a difference between a legend and a fairy tale…
Only one of them ends happily ever after.

My Personal Review: I got a copy of this for a fair and honest review. I love my rock star romances as much as the next girl, but this played out a bit different then I thought that it would. It was a second chance romance and the two main characters met while in college. She was head over heels for him and he has feeling for her but his desire for his music career lead him to do stupid guy things. It has taken a lot of twists and turns and a little push to get them in the someplace at the same time. Landon does not believe in happily ever after and he made his decision and believes now he has to live with that choice. Piper is doing her best to keep going but she can’t forget the man she loves. The moments between them are hot and steam. I love the music the two of them make. But I can’t tell you all that happens. Grab a copy and get rocking.

How I Got the Book: Borrowed

Summary of the Book:

The romantic story of a girl who gets plucked from obscurity to star in the next major feature film franchise based on a book and the ensuing love triangles she gets entangled in on—-and off screen.

Meet Paige Townsen, Rainer Devon, and Jordan Wilder…

When Paige Townsen, a young unknown, gets cast in the movie adaptation of a blockbuster book series, her life changes practically overnight. Within a month, Paige has traded the quiet streets of her hometown for a crowded movie set on the shores of Maui, and is spending quality time with her co-star Rainer Devon, one of People’s Sexiest Men Alive. But when troubled star Jordan Wilder lands the role of the other point in the movie’s famous love triangle, Paige’s crazy new life gets even crazier.

In this coming-of-age romance inspired by the kind of celeb hookups that get clever nicknames and a million page views, Paige must figure out who she is – and who she wants – while the whole world watches.

My Personal Review: I borrowed this book from the library. I wanted to read it after I saw the first second of the TV series on Freeform. As I am writing I am comparing the book to the movie. It might of been a little cliche but it was a good read over all. There was a lot of drama, betrayal, secrets, and falling in and out of love. There is more then enough to keep you interest. I had a bit of a hard time picking a favorite character. They all had their ups and downs, but that made them all come very 3D. I am not sure how I would react if I got the leading role in a movie. I am sure it is bound to change anyone. That is part of the movie business. There is a lot of internal and external conflict for Paige and her friends.
